Do you know that constantly going to the bathroom especially if you are around many people is embarrassing? Many people have always believed that drinking a lot of water causes them to pee a lot. However, drinking a lot of water is just one among many reasons why you pee a lot. Here are common reasons why you always feel like peeing:
Small bladder
A small bladder will be filled within a short time. The amount of water your bladder holds will either reduce or increase your trips to the toilet. A small bladder will make you make trips since it cannot hold a lot of water, thus need to empty it after few moments.
You are diabetic
One major symptom of being diabetic is feeling thirsty. The only way to quench thirst is by taking a lot of water. Drinking a lot of water will definitely make you visit the loo several times to reduce the amount of water in your body.
Infection
People have different types of infections down there. It is hard to notice an infection in women as opposed to men. An untreated UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) will cause irritation to your bladder hence tempting it to release what it holds, thus running to the bathroom after few hours.
Overactive bladder
People are supposed to pee only when their bladder is full. However, if you have an overactive bladder, it will contract even when it’s not full. This will definitely mean you have to go and pee to feel comfortable with whatever you will be doing.
You are nervous or anxious
There are many times people will be nervous or anxious. Your body responds to this stressful situation by releasing water through sweat and even urine, thus making you make uncountable trips to the loo to pee.
