Do you know how to easily spot a slayqueen? Here is the manual for slayqueen detection:
1. Always posting photos
A slay queen will be all over the place posting her photos on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp, personal blog - literally all over. In a single day you will count over 30 fresh photos, sometimes of the most peculiar captions.
Don't be surprised when you see her take photos of herself eating over a dozen food types at the same lunch.
2. Throwing tantrums over non-issues
For a slayqueen, anything is worth discussion. If the sun shines, you will see her complain. When night falls, she will complain. When a stranger extends courtesy to her, you will see her complain. When nothing happens, she will again come to complain. A slayqueen is always complaining.
3. Associating with big life, big people
A slayqueen is always associating with big people or things. In a big crowd, you will find her get a selfie with Victor Wanyama and when she comes to Facebook, it will be 'Bro hangin out with sis manenos'. The rare occasion she gets to board Jambo Jet, she will take a million photos to flower her instagram. She updates her status and always remembers to add, 'At State House Nairobi'.
Even when she is a 'slayer' from Kayole.
4. Makeup
Deny her food and anything else. Don't deny her makeup.
A slayqueen controls her queendom with intense makeup. She has every version of makeup for every part of the body and indeed when she comes to the public, she is someone! She slays.
But wait until she has dropped that wig.
5. Fancy language
A slayqueen may have received a straight E in her English papers but you will not defeat her in the use of fancy words. If it is the spoken language, you will get a lot of curved words punctuated with 'uptown' cliches like Owe My Gowd, (W)really. Mate, issa wreally freakin thing.
