A 50-year-old man has collapsed and died at Tala shopping centre in Matungulu, Machakos County.
Anthony Mackenzie is said to had been suffering from epilepsy when he collapsed while headed to Tala Market from his home on Friday.
Mackenzie died on his way to Kangundo Level Four Hospital.
The incident was confirmed by Tala OCS James Njiri who said the deceased family timely arrived at the scene and took him to the hospital but he died on the way.
The body was moved to Kagundo Level Four Hospital's mortuary.
Njiiri said it is possible for the man to had hit hard his head on the ground when he fell down and collapsed.
"He could have hit his head on the road after collapsing," Njiiri said.
He told the residents to ensure that their relatives who are epileptic are accompanied wherever they go since the public may not know how to handle their kins' cases in event of epileptic attacks.
The deceased's relatives said he had been suffering from epilepsy before his demise.
He was a brother to the former Matungulu parliamentary aspirant John Mackenzie.
