Makosi who hosted the Chat Spot show together with Noni Gathoni, Kush Tracey and Jackie Matubia claimed she exited the station so as to focus on an upcoming project that needed her undivided attention.

"So this week is my last on #ChatSpot. I have been trying to find the right words for this post for the past month but there's no easy way to say this... It's time for me to move on with other projects that need my undivided attention. Thank you for the love and support you've given me so far,” Makosi stated through a social media page as quoted by SDE.

Makosi's resignation from the recently launched station comes approximately nine months after she landed the deal at the station.

The Chat Spot show had quickly gained popularity due to the chemistry among the four hosts, thus Makosi's exit might be a slight setback to her co-hosts.

Late last year, Makosi expressed her excitement to join Switch TV.

"Ready for this new chapter in my life 💃@switchtvke #chatspot," she wrote on Instagram on October 2018 before the premiere of the show.
