The rift between Tanzanian musicians Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize appears to be widening with each passing day.
Diamond Platnumz seems not to be taking Harmonize's exit from his WCB record label lightly, as he referred to him as a traitor during a live performance.
Diamond declared that he was the president of the Tanzanian music industry in a poetic manner, and called out Harmonize indirectly using his alias.
"Put your hands up if you love Dangote, drink Pepsi open up your throat and lets go together. The only president who has been elected by the citizens, I have been betrayed by an army but they failed to overturn me (Mikono juu kama unampenda Dangote, kunywa Pepsi fungua koo kisha twende wote. Rais pekee ambaye wananchi wamemchagua, nishasalitiwa na jeshi ila wakashindwa kunipindua)," Diamond stated in a video that was shared by Udaku Tz on Sunday.
The name 'Jeshi' as used by Diamond is Harmonize's alias which he uses to refer to him and his team dubbed 'Konde Gang'.
This comes at a time when another video is also doing rounds on social media where fans praised Harmonize to Diamond's face.
The two musicians enjoy a wide fan base in Kenya. They have both worked with Kenyan musicians such as Willy Paul and Akothee. They have also staged their performances in the country, the most memorable one being Wasafi Festival Nairobi edition which was held last year.
