Gatundu south member of parliament Moses Kuria on Saturday caused chaos in Kitui Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) meeting on Saturday.
This happened after he was trying to get a seat at the VIP dais after arriving late.
Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu ordered that Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria be ejected from the VIP saying that she would allow President Uhuru to be disrespected.
"Nobody will abuse our President Uhuru Kenyatta and sit in this meeting! Atolewe!" Ngilu shouted.
“Atolewe, aende [Eject him, let him go],” shouted Ngilu as security-men tried to guide Kuria out of the VIP dais.
The lawmaker arrived at the event at around 1:30 p.m when the meeting had already started.
He arrived when Makueni Governor, Kivutha Kibwana, was addressing the gathering.
However, the congregation demanded that the lawmaker should be offered a seat and he was given one behind the Oranga Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga.
Several leaders from different political factions have since condemned the incident.
The occurence comes after the allies of Deputy President William Ruto vowed to attend all the BBI meeting across the country.
They have, however, been faulting ODM Leaders for allegedly hijacking the report since it was released. They believe that Raila wants to use the report for his selfish gain.
