Several party officials of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) on Sunday converged in the lake side city of Kisumu for a meeting.
According to the party in a tweet, the officials were hosted by area governor Peter Anyang Nyongo, with the party indicating that party issues were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was held at Kisumu's Nyanza Club, and was also attended by Deputy County Goverbor Mathews Owilli, with others present including Kisumu Treasurer Kasuku Achilla.
Others present were Vihiga County Chair Zebedi Esabwa, his Nyadarua county counterpart Dickson Manyara and Kisumu Deputy Chair Kennedy Ajwang.

The meeting comes amid looming by-elections, where the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led side seeks to confirm that it remains strong.
The party has over the last few weeks been preoccupied with campaigns as it seeks to register wins in the Ganda Ward race in Malindi , Kibra and Loiyangalani Ward in Marsabit.
In Kisumu, there has been an ongoing tussle between the governor and the ODM-dominated assembly, leading in the rejection of Nyong'o's Sh10 billion budget, before its final approval.
