A staunch ODM supporter died on Sunday during the party's campaigns in Kibra.
Confirming his death, Nairobi County Police Commander Philip Ndolo said that the middle-aged man died on the spot after he slipped and fell off a moving vehicle, which he was hanging onto.
Unfortunately, after falling from the speeding Toyota Prado, another vehicle ran over him.
ODM party candidate for Kibra parliamentary by elections Imran Okoth's convoy had just left Kibra DC ground.
The deceased's body was taken to the City Mortuary.
ODM has not commented on this incidence, which happened outside Yaya Centre.
Other parties with candidates include Jubilee Party which fronted former international footballer Macdonald Mariga, Amani National Congress (ANC) who have fronted Eliud Owalo among others.
Imran and Mariga have been seen as favourite candidates for the Kibra parliamentary seat.
On Saturday, Mariga's convoy was attacked by alleged ODM supporters who stoned his convoy injuring few people and destroying some of the campaign vehicles.
On various occasions, leaders have come out to argue that their candidates and supporters carry peaceful campaigns.
The Kibra by-elections will take place on November 7, 2019.
