Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko on Monday requested that Tanzanian Bongo star Diamond Platnumz and his Kenyan fiancee Tanasha Donna’s unborn baby boy be named after him.
In a post on Instagram, the flamboyant county boss wished that the unborn baby be named 'Sonko' if he will be born in Nairobi.
"Huyo mtoi akizaliwa nairobi inafaa aitwe 'sonko' (If this baby is born in Nairobi, he should be named Sonko)..otherwise congrats to the young couple," Sonko said.
The governor was reacting to comedian Eric Omondi's post who had revealed that Tanasha Donna's unborn baby was a boy.
"It's a baby Boy," revealed Eric Omondi.
On Sunday, Diamond Platnumz held a high-end birthday party for two special women in his life, his lover and his mother.
The duo, Tanasha Donna and Mama Dangote share a birthday on July 7th.
The colourful event was attended by various top artists and big names in the music industry including Kenyan celebs Eric Omondi who was the MC and top gospel artist Bahati.
During the event, Diamond revealed that Tanasha is seven months pregnant with a baby boy. However, the pregnancy news was not new as many people have already seen changes on Tanasha Donna's body that revealed she was carrying a baby.
