In a tweet, Murkomen said that the report will only make sense if the ODM leader apologizes for the chaotic campaigns in Kibra.

The Senate Leader of Majority said that they are ready to receive the BBI report but an apology from Raila is needed.

Murkomen further divulged that allies of Deputy President William Ruto will read the BBI report with other Kenyans before deciding whether to support it or not.

"We are here at SH to witness the President receiving the BBI report. We shall then read and comment. But first, we need the others to apologize and renounce violence. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa," he tweeted.

Earlier on, Murkomen had made the same sentiments.

He argued that there is no way Raila will pretend all is well yet his brigades caused violence during the Kibra by-election.

"Before receiving the BBI report on Tuesday, I am hoping the former PM will have issued a public apology for presiding over and/or acquiescing in the Kibra violence. Failure to do so will make BBI another exercise founded on hypocrisy. He must lead by example not mere lip service," Murkomen tweeted.

During the by-election in Kibra, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa and Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale faced hostility from the residents.
