Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has fired a salvo at Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa.
Speaking in Kilifi county, Jumwa's home county, Gladys Wanga warned the Malindi legislator against talking ill against other women.
The salvo appeared to be a rejoinder to Aisha Jumwa's blistering criticism of Team Embrace at Kamukunji in Nairobi County on Friday.
"We want to bring all women together but we are against this behaviour of moving around the country and talking ill against your fellow women, it is a big shame (Tunataka wamama wote na tunashikana pamoja lakini tabia ya kutembea kila mahali kuzungumzia wamama wenzako ni aibu kubwa na hatuitaki), " the Homa Bay legislator fired.
Team Embrace, a political grouping strongly supporting President Uhuru and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga handshake agenda, drummed up support for the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
The group has been embroiled in an ongoing war of words with the so called Inua Mama group, another group of women leaders vouching for Deputy President Dr William Ruto's presidential aspirations.
In Kamukunji, Aisha Jumwa, a member of Inua Mama, had called on Kenyans to reject the agenda of Team Embrace, saying that the group was disingenuous in calling for a united Kenya.
Jumwa broke ranks with the ODM party after she publicly threw her weight behind DP Ruto's presidential ambitions.
She survived an attempt by ODM to have her deregistered as a member of the party in order to force her to seek a fresh mandate using another political party.
