Manchester United has dropped to rank sixth in Forbes Most valuable teams.
Previously ranked third most valuable team by Forbes Magazine's annual list of the world's most valuable sports teams; the English premier league giants have dropped to sixth place.
In the process, they have relinquished their position to Read Madrid who are third on the list as the best football team, while rivals Barcelona sits fourth in the top 50 list teams.
America's National football league (NFL) side Dallas Cowboys valued $5bn maintains the top spot for the past four years in a row since toppling Los Blancos in 2016, while major baseball league (MLS) New York Yankees come second in the list at a value of $4.6bn.
It's believed the top two team's consistent stay at the top is due to, "high lucrative TV deals, low player salaries and increased profitable franchises." - noted, Kurt Badenhausen, senior editor Forbes media.
