Former Kenyatta University student leader Lone Felix has shared pieces of advice with the youths.
Felix, a businessman and young politician who unsuccessfully vied for Busia County Senatorial seat in the last general elections, has advised the youths to stay steadfast amid everything.
He says that though what you could be facing hard times, it does not mean it is the end of the road for you.
Lone, who is also a law graduate, has advised the struggling youths that they should never give up on their way to success. Instead, they should be focused on their goals and keep on pushing without opting for shortcuts.
The young politician went further and outlined the following three key points for the youths:
1. Trust the process
He asked youths to keep on chasing their dream even if it takes long because that is the only way people succeeded.
"So if your hunger for growth keeps burning, and you are determined, resist the temptation of measuring your worth in view of how tiny your steps are now," he says.
2. The art of focus
One should not end in 'cycle of endless activities' while trying to appear successful and look awesome to society. Have one goal at a time and work on it.
3. Accept to learn
Learning from others is very important especially those who are more experienced or with certain knowledge on the issue that could interest you.
"It may even be true that you are smarter than your boss. But the difference is that they may have gone through the path you’re starting," he concluded.
