Waiguru on Saturday exchanged vows and walked down the aisle with her longtime lover Kamotho Waiganjo in a traditional wedding party held at Kiamugumo.

The couple invited about 4,000 guests who included senior politicians, but Ngirichi was no where in the guest list.

Kirinyaga Central Member of Parliament John Munene and a section of MCAs considered hostile to Waiguru's regime were also not invited.

Ngirichi, who is married to prominent businessman Andrew Peter Ngirichi, asked Waiguru to take good care of her husband, and wished them well as they begin a new life.

“She should guard her husband because good men are rare to find and that’s why we jealously guard ours,” Ngirichi said as quoted by the Saturday Nation.

Waiguru and Ngirichi have been waging tough political wars on each other, at one time forcing Deputy President William Ruto to rebuke the duo.

The Woman Rep is said to be keen to oust Waiguru who is serving her first term.

Among those who were invited and managed to grace the wedding at Gichugu constituency included; President Uhuru Kenyatta, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina, Siaya Senator James Orengo and Murang'a Woman Rep Sabina Chege.

Others were Public Service Chief Administrative Secretary Rachel Shebesh, Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga and her Busia counterpart Florence Mutua.

"We have come from far and wide to witness and celebrate the wedding of our friend," Mutua said.
