Reacting to the Taifa Leo headline on Saturday, refuted the claims carried in the daily.

"Sonko has run out of air. Am I a tyre so that I can run out of air. My friends at Taifa Leo and Nation, it seems you have issues. (Ati SONKO ATOLEWA PUMZI. Kwani mimi ni tyre ya gari nitolewe pumzi. Mashoga wangu wa Taifa Leo na Nation muko na maneno. Marambuza, Mabaraduli, Mafidhuli, Wanahizaya, Wazabinazabina, kweli nyinyi. Munafaa kupelekwa kwa hii shule hapa), " the county boss' tweet read.

The flamboyant Nairobi county boss has been in and out of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) offices for grilling over corruption allegations.

He has strongly rebuffed the allegations saying that they do not reflect the correct sate of affairs.

EACC contends that the governor used the tendering process to benefit himself as one of the individuals said to have a tender with the county government of Nairobi is said to be the governor's close friend.

Money wired by the said close friend ended up in the governor's personal account but the governor maintains that the money was not corruption money.

He says the money was paid to his account for a piece of land.
