Speaking on Friday during the Inua Mama meeting Nakuru Edition held at the Nakuru ASK showground, the vocal legislators urged the women leaders from different counties who gathered for the meeting to start thinking of forming a new party dubbed Inua Mama Movement Party.

“If the Jubilee Party will continue to neglect and intimidate us then I think as Inua Mama you should start thinking of forming a party and we shall support you,” said Ngunjiri.

He added that they will continue to support the Inua Mama initiative as is proving to be a strong movement that will bring about change in the country.

The Bahati Legislator also took issue with the Interior Ministry over what he termed as mishandling of elected leaders.

While referring to the recent incident where Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro was arrested after chaos erupted in a church in Murang’a after the Kieleweke and Tangatanga teams clashed, the legislator called on the police to be cautious in the manner in which they handle some issues.

“Just the other day they arrested Nyoro and released him with no charges. I want to tell them the more they continue to arrest us the more they are making us famous,” said Ngunjiri.
