The late Stephen Kinyua Mungania who had disappeared mysteriously was 27-years old.

The family has claimed that Khanji Patel, the businessman at whose house the body of the deceased was found, had refused to divulge crucial information that could help in establishing what led to the death of Mungania.

The family spokesman Mr Joel Mbaabu added that they had been denied access to the postmortem and therefore they were unaware of what exactly killed the late.

The family has raised questions over the reason why they would be denied the report.

“The doctor said the body must have been dumped in the tank after he had died since there was no water in the lungs but we don’t have a copy. The body was covered in mud and he looked like he had gone without food for long and undergone torture. We are going to bury our kin like a dog since we don’t know how he died,” Mr Mbaabu said.

Julius Kirinya, the brother of the late claimed that he had been informed that the late could have committed suicide.

“A milkman who met him every day said he had not seen him. We went to the home and confirmed that it was his body but no one explained what happened. He has worked for the family for the last three years. We are seeking justice for him,” He noted.

One suspect has been arrested and is in police custody over the death of the late  Mungania.
