A Kenyan teenager who went missing in Germany has been found dead.
The girl, who has only been identified as Britney, disappeared on Tuesday after a quarrel with the mother before she was found dead.
The girl reportedly left their home in Drewitz in Potsdam and apparently went to visit some of his friends in Town but she never came back.
Her body had been discovered by a man who went on a fishing spree in River Havel on Tuesday afternoon.
The police also discovered her bag as well as personal belongings on that fateful day she went missing.
The Coast guard had searched at the spot where the body was found for days before the sad development. Police have confirmed that the body belongs to Britney. The coordinator of the first responders, Reinhold Hüpkes said that the police are probing the matter.
“The girl still wore the clothes she was reported missing in, blue jeans and a white T-shirt, and she still had her cell phone with her. Her monthly train ticket was still in her pocket,” he said, as quoted by Daily Nation.
The girl had been spotted while alighting from a tram at the Potsdam Central Station at 1:28 pm on the day she went missing. She was also seen meeting a friend at Friedrich-Engels-Strasse before she went missing.
