Police in West Pokot are holding a pastor suspected of presiding over bizarre activities in his church.
Samuel Kalwari was nabbed on Sunday over abnormal activities that have allegedly been happening in his church, including children worshipping while naked.
The cleric who was moved to the Kapenguria Police Station is also accused of forcing children worshipping in his church to abandon their education.
The incident was confirmed by Kipkomo Sub County Police Commander Mohammed Kofa, who said that the accused is helping the police with investigations.
The police boss added that parents of the children in question were also arrested, reports the People Daily.
Such incidences involving preachers arw not new in Kenya, after another member of the cleric was last week accused of engaging in immoral activities with children.
The said preacher, pastor Meshak of Miracle Time Christian Church in Githurai 44 is being accused of inviting underage girls to a drinking spree in his house.
He is also accused of having possibly sexually assaulted them, alongside two other men who were nabbed in his house, after used condoms were recovered in his house.
The girls in question were reportedly aged between 12 and 13, while the tep men were moved to the Kasarani Police Station.
