A Narok boy whose video imitating Jeff Koinange went viral last week has had the chance of meeting his idle.
On Wednesday night, Joseph Ndegwa Ngari met Koinange live on TV and even had the opportunity to introduce the show while holding a mug of a chocolate beverage, leaving Koinange in stitches.
Social media users had urged the former Cable News Network (CNN) correspondent to invite the youngster.
"Welcome to Citizen TV, my name is Jeff Koinange. Remember to keep tweeting @JeffKoinange and Kenya's hashtag is Jeff Koinange Live. And Jeff Koinange Live begins right now, tonight, " Ndegwa said, mimicking the host's deep baritone and American accent.
Asked what he wanted to be, the young boy did not hesitate, saying that he wanted to be a journalist like Koinange.
"What do you wanna be when you grow up?" Koinange asked overwhelmed by laughter.
"Journalist," Ndegwa replied without hesitation.
The veteran Kenyan journalist said that he had been sent the video of the Narok boy mimicking him and decided to meet him.
This comes barely two weeks after another Narok boy, Levis Saule, met Nimrod Taabu after a video of him imitating a Swahili Citizen Television ground reporter went viral.
