Kenyan social media have raised concern over the poor state of roads in Kirinyaga County.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday through the #WaigurusNoRoadsCounty, a section of Kenyans put Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru on the spot over the poor conditions of the roads.
Some of the netizens criticized the governor for not living up to her manifestos and promise of delivering good infrastructure for the residents of Kirinyaga county.
They claimed that the governor should have ensured that the county has good roads which are a passable.
The netizens went ahead to share photos of muddy and impassable roads believed to be in Kirinyaga County.
A number of the netizens nonetheless claimed residents of Kirinyaga County elected governor waiguru and therefore they should live with the consequences.
They claimed that such poor infrastructure would be a good lesson for Kenyans to elect responsible and competent leaders who can bring developments.
Govenor Waiguru has so far not commented to the public outcry on Twitter.
A group of Kenyans on Twitter took the chance to also raise similar concern of poor roads that were being witnessed in other counties.
