Senior Councel Ahmednassir Abdullahi has now come out to state why Kenyans have always loved President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a tweet on Friday morning, lawyer Ahmednassir lauded the head of state for given Orange Democratic Movement Raila Odinga a portion of leadership under his government.
"This is WHY Kenyans LOVE H.E Uhuru and voted for him overwhelmingly twice. Even though he DOESN'T have the power under any law and the constitution PROHIBITS it, through his deep sense of COMPASSION and EMPATHY he has given BABA a new lease of life...THAT IS LEADERSHIP!" he said.
The renowned lawyer was reacting to a local newspaper's articles that indicated Raila Odinga is in the centre of power.
"Raila Odinga is the new centre of power," reads the heading of the article on Daily Nation.
In the article, President Uhuru Kenyatta in honour of his peace pact with the African Union Representative has given him various authorizes in his Jubilee government.
Apart from being accorded VVIP treatment by State agencies, Mr Odinga gets briefed regularly by Cabinet Secretaries. More so, he makes policy pronouncements.
He has also been given the authority to host both local and international delegations at his Capitol Hill office in Nairobi.
