Nyamira County Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has revealed that he only advises Governor John Nyagarama on how to run the county government.
Nyaribo argued that as a Deputy Governor, he never makes decisions in the county because there is a sitting in governor.
"For the last 7 years I have served as the Deputy Governor in Nyamira I have been only advising Nyagarama but not making decisions. My work is to ensure Nyagarama takes in my advises in matters development for the benefit of our people," he said on Wednesday.
He said for the seven years they have been having leadership challenges because at times Nyagarama could not listen to his advises.
Nyaribo argued that they have been able to solve their leadership differences amicable.
"I have never fought physically with Nyagarama only that we have differences when he takes in advises from people who are not supposed to advise him. I want to put the record straight that I have been supporting the county boss to deliver. What won't accept is him to be advised by rogue advisers," noted Nyaribo.
The Deputy Governor further said it is only Nyagarama who has powers to hire and sack workers.
