DJ Elove is currently at the Nairobi Hospital undergoing treatment after he was shot in the neck on Friday morning at B-Club in Kilimani, Nairobi.

Owiyo said the entertainer did not deserve to go through all that suffering, and wished him quick recovery.

At the same time, the 'Kisumu 100' hit maker, rebuked Owino, whom she described as reckless, and wondered what could have triggered him to commit the inhumane act.

"DJ Evolve didn’t deserve it. Wish him quick recovery. Indeed justice must prevail. To date I fail to understand how reckless Embakasi East MP Babu Owino can be. Whatever was going on in his mind at the time of shooting, only God knows," Owiyo tweeted on Monday.

The Afro fusion singer made the remarks after the the ODM MP was remanded for seven days after pleading not guilty to the charge of attempted murder.

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi directed that Babu Owino is remanded at the Industrial Area Remand Prison pending preparation of the bail report by the probation department.

The youthful legislator termed his woes as 'occupational hazards' and pledged to give his side of story once out of prison.

"I urge Kenyans to wait for my side of the story of what happened when I come from my new home at Industial area prison. I also need justice and it must be served to me. Meanwhile these are occupational hazards," Owino tweeted.
