Tabichi, who bagged the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize 2019, had a rare chance to discuss the issues affecting the young generation with the top brains from the UK.

The teachers assembled at the London’s prestigious Science Museum where he held the talk weeks after he was hosted at the White House by US President Donald Trump.

He urged the teachers to exchange ideas on different topics for better service delivery while in their line of duty. He reminded them that students need their teachers’ support to grow into better people as far as their studies are concerned.

He said that learners want their teachers to illustrate different aspects of life. He noted that learners often find it easier to conceptualise things when they are guided through action.

“When I teach my students about the world and why it turns when I show them how the basic forces of our planet work, I see the wonder in their eyes. The same wonder I felt looking around me at all the awe-inspiring things exhibited here in the Science Museum. There is nothing like showing science in action to switch students’ minds on to all its study can achieve," he explained, as quoted by Capital FM.

He also said that it is a great honour for him to address the best teachers in the UK. He thanked different stakeholders for offering him a platform to share his thoughts with the world.
