According to Shollei, Ruto's future presidential ambitions would be jeopardized if he does not show his ability to deliver in his present capacity as the Deputy President.

Speaking at a church function in Kiambu county, which was also attended by the DP and other leaders, the former Judiciary Registrar further asked President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy not to relent in their quest to deliver on the Jubilee manifesto.

She also warned Ruto of an impending rough time in selling his presidential candidature in 2022, if he does not fulfil promises which Jubilee made to the electorate.

"Msipotimiza development ambayo mlituahidi kama Jubilee ujue hata wewe utakuwa kwa shida uko mbele." (If you do not fulfil development pledges as Jubilee government, then know that you will also be in trouble in future), Shollei told the DP in a video that has been shared on Facebook.

The Woman Rep also reiterated to the President and his deputy that they have to complete the development projects that the government pledged to Kenyans in order to win their trust.

"Continue showing us those projects when completed as you had pledged as a government and we will thank you and support you," Shollei noted.
