Rarieda lawmaker Otiende Amollo has alerted Kenyans to brace for a more heated war on graft in the coming days.
The remark comes only days after the arraignment of former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge over graft charges.
Speaking on Wednesday, the opposition legislator termed this as a tip of what should be expected in the coming days, predicting more arrests in the near future.
He termed the arrest and detention of the two, over the loss of billions in the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, "just an indication of what to expect".
"From the grapevine, CS Henry Rotich’s arrest was an indication of what to expect. More arrests are on the way," he said on KTN's Point Blank show on Wednesday night.
The ex-ombudsman proceeded to propose an all-out war on the menace, observing that the vice has slowly but steadily grown into a pandemic which must be fought from all corners.
"Corruption has become endemic, fighting corruption from all angles is a good thing if it can help reduce corruption," he added.
Rotich and Thugge have since vacated office as per the law, and are expected to remain outside until their case is heard and determined by the court.
