The company released the number on Sunday saying Kenyans feel the country is failing due to corruption. However, this is a reduction since in the polls it released in November last year, 62 % Kenyans thought the country was not being well led.

The CEO, Angela Ambitho, also said the number could even decrease if the Jubilee government led by president Uhuru Kenyatta fights deals which lead to misuse of resources and any other deeds that could be portraying negativity in government especially corruption terror attacks and insecurity.

38 % of Jubilee supporters, however, say the country is not headed the right direction while 34 % of CORD supporters said the country is moving in the right direction.

Corruption is seen as the most pressing issue that needs to be addressed quickly since it is the one killing the development of the country.

Lately, many cases of corruption have been reported and the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) is under pressure from the public to bring all corrupt leaders to account.
