Citizen TV presenter Andy Mburu on Sunday announced that he was taking a break from the Rauka show that he has been hosting.
Mburu said he was leaving his current job so as to allow him to go for theological studies.
The studies will take six weeks.
"God is pulling me into a bit of a break, this coming week I'm taking a break from Rauka, God has been calling me to an area of theology and I have to go and add a little bit of knowledge," said Mburu in a video shared on YouTube.
"It's a programme that I have been interested in taking. It runs in an institution called Oxford centre for Christian apologetics where I will be volunteering and is run by a ministry called Ravi Zachariah's ministries," he added.
The presenter said he has already prepared his family for the transition and believes the studies will make him more efficient in serving.
Andy Mburu has been a presenter for Rauka show for the last two and half years.
His break comes about five months after another presenter Enid Moraa quit after being in the show for almost five years.
