President Uhuru Kenyatta is scheduled to visit Nakuru County on Wednesday where he is expected to launch different projects.
During the visit, the President will open the multimillion Nakuru County Assembly office complex and refurbished County Assembly chambers.
According to Nakuru County Assembly Speaker Joel Kairu, Uhuru will launch the two facilities and is expected to address MCAs
Sh220 million was used to build the new Ugatuzi Plaza houses and refurbish the County Assembly chambers, committee rooms and offices for the ward representatives.
“The construction and refurbishment of the two facilities was done within 28 months and financed in two fiscal years,” said Kairu as quoted by Standard Digital.
He also said the county is playing its part in supporting President Uhuru on his move to achieve the Big Four Agenda.
“We shall take the opportunity to inform the President on what we are doing as a county to support him in achieving his administration’s Big Four agenda,” he noted.
The President is also expected to preside over the 93rd edition of the Kenya Music Festival State gala at Nakuru State House.
