A Jubilee youth leader in Kisii County has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta Ukur Yattani's appointment as the acting Treasury CS.
This follows the arrest and arraignment of former CS Henry Rotich over the Sh63 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal.
Speaking on Wednesday at Boroko in Bomariba, Isaac Motari, the Kisii County Jubilee Party Youth Secretary-General lauded Uhuru for "efficiently" replacing Rotich.
"I want to congratulate President Kenyatta for making a quick and bold step to replace Rotich. Government operations must continue running. Anyone in government involved in graft must be kicked out," he stated.
Motari challenged Uhuru to focus on working with serious people who are not driven by accumulating wealth.
According to Motari who has since declared his interest for Bomariba ward MCA seat in 2022, Rotich's replacement should not be politicised.
"Politics should not be dragged into Rotich's replacement. Let politicians support President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver towards the realization of the Big Four Agenda," argued Motari.
He confirmed that the government under the leadership of President Uhuru is winning the war on graft.
