It has remained a topic of discussion on social media after mormer Mother-in-law actress Catherine Kamau, popularly known by her stage name, Celina, was rewarded with a brand new BMW car by her husband, Phil Karanja, for bearing him a baby.
Celina's BMW reward was revealed to Kenyans after she shared a video of how everything unfolded on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening.
The actress said her husband was a reliable man and that every pain she went through while in the maternity room was worth it.
"Every push has been rewarded, such a reliable man," she captioned the video on her status.
Celina went further and urged young ladies to work hard and wait for their day with patience.
"Young queens out there, handwork, patience and perseverance still pay. Hardworking girls are still cool, Trust me," she added.
However, the reward caught Kenyans on social media by surprise, with some taking to the comment section to express their reactions over the reward.
While some Kenyans lauded Celina's husband for valuing her wife that much to a level of buying her a nice car, others said such men are no longer available in Kenya, and if they are there, then are limited.
Others said the couple had bought a family car and only wanted attention by saying it was a reward for his wife.
