The Orange party leader has repeatedly declared that the nation will be subjected to constitutional to among others, expand the executive, before the 2022 general elections.

And speaking on Wednesday, the former MP noted that judging by his remarks and confidence, it is very likely that the country will ultimately end up conducting the changes.

"Tangu nimjue Raila sijamsikia akisema uwongo. Pia ukimsikia pamoja na watu wake wamekuwa consistent. Ile BBI taskforce hakuna mtu atasema kitu tofauti," he said on Radio Citizen's Jungu Kuu show on Wednesday night.

This translates to; "For the time I have known him I haven't heard him lie. Listening to him and his people, they have been very consistent. Nobody in the BBI taskforce will say anything different."

He stated that judging by the support the changes also enjoy from President Uhuru Kenyatta, it will be almost impossible to halt them.

This he based on Uhuru's remarks that there is a need for the country to embrace a new structure that will eradicate the current "winner takes it all" arrangement.

"Uhuru has also indicated that he wants a permanent solution to political wrangles. He has indicated the direction (Uhuru pia ameindicate he wants a permanent solution ya vita za kisiasa. Ameindicate kule watu wanaelekea)," he added.

However, the ex-lawmaker hinted that he will be on the opposing side in the instance that the proposal includes expanding the executive by introducing more seats.
