East African celebrities have come out to condemn the Xenophobia attacks that are being witnessed in South Africa and called for a peaceful existence.
Ugandan socialite cum business lady Zari Hassan who also resides in South Africa advised the perpetrators of the attack through her Instagram page to stop the xenophobic attacks.
Zari who enjoys a huge fan base in Kenya further condemned those who were taking advantage of the situation to loot and rob others. The socialite who has recently visited Kenya also has businesses in South Africa.
"This is getting out of hand. Xenophobic attacks are getting worse and some are using this opportunity to rob and loot foreigners shops. #SayNoToXenophobia," Zari Hassan wrote on Instagram.
Tanzanian star singer Harmonize joined Zari Hassan in calling for peaceful existence citing that the world was watching. The 'Kwangwaru' hitmaker went ahead to champion for unity by citing that Africans are one.
"NO ...!!! NO...!!! NO ...!!! 😭😭😭 THIS IS NOT GOOD 🙏🙏 SOUTH AFRICA THE WORLD IS WATCHING THIS!!!!!! WE ARE ONE," Harmonize wrote on his Instagram page.
Harmonize too has a close connection to Kenya as he enjoys a huge following from Kenyans. He has also worked with various Kenyan artistes including willy Paul.
