Jubilee leaders have been asked to embrace the government efforts to conserve Mau forest, despite the devastating effects the move is likely to cause.
The government is in the process of kicking people out of Mau forest, a move that has caused rift between government and a section of Rift Valley leaders.
Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama on Monday slammed MPs opposed to the move, accusing then of failing to guide their people appropriately.
Mr Arama said the MPs should consider looking for audience with government, adding that insulting officials will not solve the matter at hand.
"I have heard some MPs abusing a government minister who is in charge of environment. This is not right because the same MP can reach the president over the same," he said.
"My late sister, the one which some of you attended a funeral in Nyamira, surrendered 30 acres. I can't abuse the government because I will seek compensation," he added.
Belgut MP Nelson Koech accused Environment CS Keriako Tobiko of pushing an agenda in the Mau eviction saga, adding that nobody shall move out of the forest.
Over 15 schools were declared illegal in the forest, a move that could disrupt anticipated national exams in October. The government insists that the evictions will go on.
