A comment from popular Kenyan gospel musician Size 8 on the type of dressing in church sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Size 8 who was commenting on the dressing of Reverend kathy Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church claimed there is nothin wron in ladies wearing trousers to church.
The 'Mateke' hit-maker stated that women were being called all sorts of names for wearing trousers to church.
She gave Rev Kathy Kiuna whom she referred to as 'one of the leading worshipers in the world', as an example in trying to explain that there was indeed nothing wrong in such type of dressing for ladies in the church
"Happening now DOZ @jcckenya parklands the anointed servant of God @therealsinachministering......one of the top leading worshippers in the world and hey she is in Jeans all those people who condemn us when we put on Jeans calling us all sorts of names look you can wear your jeans and still serve your God very well under the leading of the holy spirit HALLELUJAH!!!! Cc @revkathykiuna," Size 8 wrote on Instagram.
A number of the netizens nonetheless seemed to differ with Size 8 as they claimed women should wear appropriate attire to church as a sign of respect.
Some went ahead to point that it was wrong to use Rev Kiuna as the point of reference but instead go with what the bible says.
Some of the netizens, however, agreed with Size 8's sentiments.
