The ODM legislator made the claim on Wednesday during 'Pointblank' show aired on KTN.

"The biggest threat that the Big 4 agenda of the President faces is the Tanga Tanga movement..." he said.

"Before you fall down a tree, you cut down the branches. What Ruto and Murkomen are doing is trying to cut the branches of Uhuru Kenyatta," he added.

The Big Four Agenda is part of President Kenyatta's plans for the country as the clock winds down on the second and final term of his presidency.

It is an action plan on enhancing manufacturing, affordable housing, healthcare, and food security.

He used it as an election platform in the 2017 general election campaign, in which he sought re-election.

In his public appearances, the deputy president has denied working to undermine the Head of State, statibf that he is firmly behind the president's development agenda.
