Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has insinuated that President Uhuru Kenyatta and forces surrounding him have already betrayed his deputy William Ruto.
In a tweet on Friday, the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant hinted that Uhuru might not honour his initial vow to endorse Ruto as his successor after his ten years in power.
He claimed that this is out of fear that Ruto, once in power, will revisit the 2007 post election violence and deal with those behind the deaths and destruction in his Rift Valley zone.
The lawyer alleged that Uhuru was part of the team that facilitated the clashes, hence the fear they Ruto might cause havoc in the instance that he cliches power, and must be kept out.
He said Uhuru will also betray ODM leader Raila Odinga, whom they currently appear to enjoy a close friendship with, after their truce on March 9, 2018.
The vocal barrister said that just like in Ruto's case, Uhuru and team are afraid that Raila will revenge for the numerous times his presidential election wins have been stolen.
"Consider this: Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and his Mafia have betrayed Ruto because of their fear that Ruto would avenge those Uhuru killed during the 2007/8 period. How does any idiot believe that Uhuru and his Mafia don't fear Raila's revenge for 3 stolen elections?" he posed.
Lately, Uhuru's friendship with Raila has intensified, both maintaining that their union is non-political.
Raila who has unsuccessfully vied for the presidency four times has blamed three of his losses on rigging, two against Uhuru and one against former President Mwai Kibaki.
