Lately, a number of politicians from across the political scene have been seen in the company of Raila, which has been seen as a possible realignment for the 2022 general elections.

Sifuna says that the group has identified something great in Raila's camp, predicting a win for the team in the long run, saying that the result will be seen the fast approaching poll.

"The leaders coming in are people who can identify a good thing, they are visionary leaders who have seen the future. They know where the nation is headed (Hawa wanakuja kwa sababu wanajua kitu kizuri, ni viongozi wenye maono na tayari wameona mbele. Wanajua kule Kenya inaenda)," he said on Radio Citizen, Monday morning.

Among the leaders who have been seen accompanying Raila to his latest rallies include governors Alfred Mutua (Machakos), Charity Ngilu (Kitui), Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga) and Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni).

Sifuna claimed that the team, which he said has its roots in Raila's 2018 truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta, will be defining the future of Kenyan politics in the 2022 polls.

He added that tough times are looming for those who will be on the opposite side, in reference to the group allied to Deputy President William Ruto, popularly known as Tangatanga.

He said that the group, which also helped Raila secure the Kibra parliamentary seat through Imran Okoth, will also secure a win in the looming Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

"If you will be in Tangatanga combined the beating will be a similar one, both in the BBI and 2022. If you aren't making plans then it's your problem (Kama utakuwa Tangatanga combined kichapo kitakuwa hiki hiki tu katika BBI na 2022, kama hujajipanga shauri yako)," he added.

Other politicians who have been walking with Raila lately include Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro, nominated MP Maina Kamanda and Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny.
