Former Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe has taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto's allies for opposing the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
The former Gatanga Member of Parliament hit out the DP's allies, wondering how they could oppose something they are not aware of.
He asked the leaders in Ruto’s camp to wait until the BBI report is released before they can make any suggestion or remark on the same.
The vocal politician also said that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga was a momentous political move for the nation.
"I hear some people are opposing the BBI. How do you oppose something that you don’t know? Let them wait for the report,” he said, as quoted by Standard.
Murathe, who has been a fierce critic of the DP, also said that he will do everything within his means to ensure Ruto doesn’t rise to power.
He said that Kenyans are doomed if they allow the DP to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming 2022 polls. He also said that only Raila has what it takes to beat Ruto in 2022.
