Having spent a loan season with the then Championship side, Aston Villa, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is out to prove critics wrong.
Out of Chelsea's 11 English Premier League (EPL) goals this season, the 21-year-old has scored 7 goals, having scored a brace in two games against Sheffield United and Norwich City.
The striker became the youngest ever Chelsea striker to score a Premier League hat-trick, even as Chelsea condemned Wolves to a 2 - 5 defeat at Molineux.
Abraham joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Dele Alli as the third young Premier League player to score two or more goals in three consecutive appearances for his side.
In addition, the lad joins Manchester United's Sergio Aguero as EPL joint top scorer with 7 goals.
Abraham hopes this will be his season even as he puts more effort to prove to Frank Lampard for trusting him.
"I hope this is my season and I have to keep working hard in every training session and every game," the striker was quoted by BBC Sport.
Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard was full of praise for the young star and noted that he has enthusiasm for the game and skills to score.
"Tammy has a fantastic approach to the game and how he wants to progress," said Lampard.
The Blues fanatics hope that Tammy will keep the tempo high even as they begin their UEFA champions league campaign on Tuesday against Valencia before welcoming Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
