Media personality and singer Tanasha Donna has expressed joy to her special fans after she managed to overtake star-studded 'Nyoka Ya Shaba' collabo from YouTube trends in Kenya.
Kenyan highly rated celebs, Kamene, Andrew Kibe, Xtian Dela, Exray, Magix Enga, Timmy Tdat, Jua Cali, Kristoff and Harry Craze teamed and came up with a controversial Gengeton kind of song dubbed 'Nyoka Ya Shaba'.
The song was well received and within no time, it was trending at number one on YouTube, which is the largest video sharing platform.
However, Tanasha's new hit song, 'La Vie', in which she teamed up with Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) singer Mbosso Khan, has displaced 'Nyoka Ya Shaba' just after 24 hours of its release.
Taking it on social media, Tuesday afternoon, Tanasha confirmed that the song is not only trending in Kenya but also in Tanzania.
"We’re #1 ON TRENDING IN KENYA 🇰🇪 GUYS! #2 in TANZANIA 🇹🇿. THE REST OF EAST AFRICA AND AFRICA THAT ARE SUPPORTING ME, THANK YOU ALL .. Thank you for the enorm amount of support!!! @mbosso_ my brother thanks once again! Wouldn’t be possible without you all. ... #DONNATELLEP AUDIO AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON @boomplaymusicke @boomplaymusic_tz," Tanasha posted on Instagram.
'La Vie' is a French phrase which loosely translates to "that's life".
