Tanzanian singer Harmonize alias Kondeboy was given a warm reception by football fans barely a day after his private wedding with Italian lover Sarah Michelotti.
On Saturday, Kondeboy walked down the aisle with Sarah in a private wedding that was held in Tanzania's capital, Dar es Salaam.
The wedding is currently making key topics in Tanzania and East Africa at large after the singer's long-time friends, including Diamond Platnumz, failing to show up. It is not yet clear if he invited his former employer WCB Wasafi crew or not.
A day later after the wedding, the singer was spotted at a 2022 World Cup qualifying football match between Tanzania and Burundi.
Harmonize had shown up at the match with his newlywed wife where he was seen dancing beside her as he cheered Tanzania to a crucial victory which saw them advance to the next stage after penalties shootout.
The match ended at 1-1 draw before Tanzania clinched victory by 3-0 though penalties.
Harmonize then made his way into the field immediately after the penalties shootout to prize the home fans with unexpected live performance.
In a viral video making rounds on social media, the 'Kwangwaru' hitmaker is seen topless in a black short moving around the field amid cheering fans who were overwhelmed with Tanzanian's victory as well as seeing their celebrated celebrity.
Sources say he managed to deliver a shot performance. It is being speculated the singer is working hard to gain a place in fans' heart and minds after ditching Diamond Platnum'z WCB which could have ruined his fame.
