Police in Florida in the United States on Monday prosecuted a man who allegedly castrated a companion he met online.
Gary Van Ryswyk allegedly castrated the unidentified man on Sunday, after their meeting in a fetish online site meant for eunuchs.
He later reported himself to the police from the Highland County Sheriff's police who went to enquire about the incident.
According to the Sheriff's office, the 74-year-old opened the door and told the police that he had just castrated a man in his bedroom, which he has turned into an operating theatre.
The Sheriff's office found the incident weird, terming it nuts and sensitive.
"This one is a little... let's just say sensitive. You could even say it's kinda nuts," it said, according to the Nation on Thursday.
The police also saved the man who was bleeding profusely after two organs were extracted from his body and was rushed to a regional medical centre where he was stabilized.
The police official said that the accused is not new to such and recently attempted another one in a motel, which"turned out pretty much like this one," it said.
He was charged with practising medicine without a certificate and causing bodily harm and was released on a Sh250, 000 bond, which the police agreed with.
"This one will definitely hang around in the memory for a while," said the office which added that the accused has since removed his own testicles as part of his tests.
