Citizen Digital reports that the 58 years old man who made headlines in July complained of heaviness and vomiting a few months after the surgery.

Mary Mbinya the widow said her husband has been recovering very well as he could walk and talk but now he has gone

“He had improved. The wounds were healing and he could walk and talk but he has rested,” Mbinya said.

On July 12th, Mutinda was admitted at the Machakos Level Five Hospital after doctors discovered a history of frontal swelling and weakness of the right side of the body.

They conducted an MRI test which revealed that he was suffering from frontal Glioblastoma multiforme.

He was then referred to Kenyatta National Hospital where they assessed him and referred him back to Machakos Level Five Hospital after being told that the medics at the two hospitals can perform a craniotomy.

A group of doctors led by Lead surgeon Sam Njiru operated him and successfully removed the brain tumour in his head.

Burial and funeral arrangements are underway at his home in Kisekini village, Machakos County.
