Waking up to morning stomach pains distort someone's plan and aspirations for the day. This can be caused by constipation, ulcers, pancreatitis or even gastritis among others.
It could be hard to determine where to start to handle morning stomach pains. Here are some of the ways to handle the pains;
1. Eat a banana or a papaya
Bananas are rich in potassium and natural sugars which helps in dehydration as well as reducing hunger pangs that are associated with morning stomach pains while papaya relieves indigestion by the help of the enzyme papain.
2. Let yourself vomit
Morning stomach pains come with much discomfort and you might feel the urge to vomit. Do not hold it since this will irritate the oesophagus and will only worsen the situation. When you let out what you consumed, your stomach will ease up and this will reduce the pain.
3. Use heat
You can lie on your back to the bed and use a hot pad to alleviate the stomach pain. Place the bottles across your stomach and this will help in increasing blood flow to the skin surface.
4. Seek medical assistance
Once you have tried any way possible yet keep on waking up to morning stomach pains, make sure you see a doctor for any underlying conditions. Do not keep using ways to reduce stomach pains. If it is not disappearing, probably it is a serious problem.
