This comes only three weeks after Uhuru lashed out at some elected leaders for frustrating and demeaning him, months after numerous attacks on his corrupt state officials.

Karua says that Uhuru is not the only angry person because the same is the case among persons around him, including his deputy William Ruto. She noted that the DP has, however, chosen not to show it.

Speaking on Citizen TV's Daybreak Show on Monday, she said that Ruto's anger can be seen through his allies, most of whom have not been happy with a number of things in the party.

"Before we call the president angry, I would say we have angry Jubilee members or even an angry DP. He (DP) may not always display it but it is displayed through his supporters. This equals an angry national leadership" she said.

Ruto's allies have been uncomfortable with among others, Uhuru's truce with Raila Odinga.

She further agreed with the opposition that DP Ruto has been engaging in 2022 politics. According to the former Gichugu parliamentarian, the fact that the DP is always surrounded by huge delegations of politicking allies is proof that he is already campaigning.

"How can you say DP Ruto has not publicly stated his ambitions? You can say it in actions. If you are carrying around groups who talk in your presence and are demanding things from the electorate then you are speaking!" she added.
