Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa took a swipe at the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Public Service and Gender Affairs Rachael Shebesh on Saturday.
Speaking at an Inua Mama function in Laikipia, the outspoken legislator tore into Shebesh alleging that the CAS was moving aimlessly around the country instead of doing the job that President Uhuru had given her.
She claimed that the work given to CASs was unconstitutional.
"That's why you are seeing the likes of Shebesh moving around aimlessly because they don't what their work is. (CAS kazi yake ni nini? Wamepewa kazi ambayo haijulikani, haiko kwa Katina na ndio unaona kina Shebesh wanarandaranda hawajui kazi yao no nini), " Jumwa fired. (0:04-0:12)
The Malindi MP's blistering criticism of the former Nairobi County Woman Rep appear to have been inspired by Rachael Shebesh's involvement in the activities of 'Embrace', a group of woman reps supporting the handshake between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Shebesh graced an Embrace press conference about two months ago and pledged her support for the outfit Embrace and Inua Mama outfits appear to be politically working at cross-purposes with the former seen to be behind Raila and Uhuru while the latter is seen to be rallying behind Deputy President Dr William Ruto
