The former Nairobi County Governor Evans Kidero lawyers Paul Angarwa, Philiph Nyachoti, Willie Otieno and Nelson Havi have accused Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji over his tweet concerning the proceeding of Kidero's case.

Appearing before Milimani Magistrate Douglas Ogoti on Wednesday, the lawyers argued that the DPP's tweet have bad intention which might negativel affect the outcome of Kidero's Sh213 million graft case. 

“DPP has opened” Baraza Online” in which he  discusses Kidero  and  his co-accused on a daily basis which move goes to undermine the dignity of the  court,” the lawyers said.

They noted that DPP's office is a public office which should be respect the proceedings of a court.

They called on the judge to order the DPP to stop revealing the court proceedings to the public. 

“The DPP has violated the Constitution which calls for this court to bar him completely from openly discussing any proceedings with members of the public,” the court was told. 

On Tuesday, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) published various tweet that entail details of the case graft case against Kidero. 

They termed the tweets as inciteful which are meant to turn the public against Kidero. 

Milimani Magistrate Douglas Ogot revealed that he will make a ruling over Kidero's lawyer's concerns when they adjourn the hearing on Thursday.
