Gesami assured residents of West Mugirango constituency that he has no plans to quit politics anytime soon.

"I want to assure my supporters in West Mugirango and across Nyamira County that I am still active in politics and I do not intend to quit anytime soon. I will continue traversing the constituency and the county as a whole to engage my supporters ahead of the 2022 polls," he stated.

The ex-legislator challenged the current MP Vincent Kemosi to focus on service delivery as he promised the electorates during the 2017 campaigns saying should he fail to deliver, the electorates will show him the door.

"I urge Kemosi to stop going around with corrupt politicians and focus on developing the constituency. The electorates will kick him if he fails to deliver and develop the region," he stated at Gianchore PAG church where he presided over a funds drive on Wednesday.

Gesami appealed to parents to invest more in their children through education arguing that during this festive season, parents should not spend all their money buying clothes and forget that next year they will pay school fees for their children.
